Phonic MR2443a Rack Mixer

The 19" format was introduced to achieve international compatibility among studio gear. The 19" rack is the standard for flight cases, studio racks and so on. Phonic designs the MR (Mr. Right) series mixers to give you the functionality and features of a professional console in this standard format. You get the audio quality and durable construction of Phonic's biggest mixer, in a compact rack format - with all necessary functions. Rotatable connector panel saves you room when you mount it on the rack. MR2443a gives you 16 mono channels, all with balanced XLR microphone and 1/4" TRS line inputs, plus insert for compressor limiters, a high-quality 3-band sweep-mid EQ, four aux sends, PFL and mute functions with peak LED indicator, routing switch to subgroups and to the main mix. The discrete microphone preamplifiers sport the same proven design and high quality as those included in other Phonic's units. An external power supply ensures extremely low hum interference and especially transparent reproduction.
Selectable Gain for Both Mic and Line
The gain control features two indications for mic and line. No matter what kind of input source you choose, MR2443a can always satisfy your need. Use the inner ring for mic input and for line you can use the outer ring for adjustment.
3-Band Sweep Mid Equalizer
Each input channel features a high and low-shelving EQ with 15 dB of boost/attenuation each. For mid range, MR2443a additionally sports a semi-parametric mid-frequency (100Hz~8 kHz) filter plus an 18 dB/octave low-cut filter.
Aux Sends and Aux RTNs to Set You Free
Aux sends 1 & 2 are switchable between pre-fader and post-fader mode, for stage monitor - or with Aux RTN together serves as effect loop, or use it as an additional stereo input. You can even assign the Aux RTN 1 & 2 to group 1/2, 3/4, and main mix.
Primary Goal
The main mix level is controlled via high-quality 60-mm faders. An accurate 13-segment LED display with separate status LED's gives you direct visual control. The master section also features a phones output and a 2-track input, which can be routed to the control room or main mix, and both with a precise potentiometer for level control.
