The H-985W Vari-Link hi-hat allows infinite footboard angle settings. The footboard angle can be set for optimum playing comfort and to match the height of double pedals for quick transitions. The spring tension adjustment is ergonomically located for easy reach and adjustments while playing. The clutch spacers and seat cup are specially formed from non-sound absorbing rubber to maximize cymbal clarity and projection. The H-985W also offers Omni-Pod swiveling double braced legs with reversible gear tilter rubber/spike tipped feet for precise tip adjustment for best stability.
