awesome. i have the cheapest cymbal stand you can get. i can attach this to it, extend it althe way out, as far as it will go, and put an 18" china on it. really strong, looks better than the gibraltar version, and it's easier to attach to a stand

It is a good idea to have a couple of these fine booms available. Any drummer who uses rehearsal studios will agree - typically the house hardware sucks and these little champs will most definitely come in handy. These are also ideal for quick changes of effect cymbals or other percussion items when recording.
These are logically designed and overall very well built for such a small footprint.
