The PRS Custom 24 electric guitar takes a mahogany body with a carved maple top and skillfully joins it to a 24-fret mahogany neck to give you unbelievable sustain. PRS then equipped the Custom 24 with an HFS pickup in the bridge position and a Vintage Bass pickup in the neck position.
Originally meaning Hot, Fat and Screams, the HFS is a powerful pickup with a balance of aggression, clear highs, strong midrange, and strong bass. The Vintage Bass delivers more of a "classic" tone. Pickups are controlled by a 5-way rotary selector switch along with volume and tone controls, giving the Custom 24 a huge palette of tone colors. Tuning stability comes from 14:1 low mass locking tuners. Includes hardshell case.
