NOTE: I own the 16" Dimensions Power Crash. The Dimensions line was introduced a few years back, but has since been discontinued. It has now been merged with the 2002 line, indicated by the prefix "rock" on 2002 cymbals. So now my Dimensions Power Crash would be classified as a 2002 Rock Crash, but the sound is identical regardless of the model.

This is a heavy weight cymbal with a lightly hammered finish that thins out as it reaches the edge. Underneath the hammering, there are lathing lines that help to control the sound and give it more projection. This is done on both sides, giving an even response with no conflicting overtones. As a result, the crash is bright due to it's weight, and has a quick yet warm decay. It responds best to a hard stroke, and really opens up when hit hard. This crash seems especially suited more towards metal due to its bright tone, quick decay, projection, and heavy weight.
