The CC28 features a super shallow bowl for bright acoustic tone and the all new OP4BT preamp that is voiced to maximize Ovation’s superior balance up and down the fingerboard. It even has a built-in tuner! Additional features: Spruce top, 3-piece nato neck with bound rosewood fingerboard, and gold-tone tuners and hardware. Case not included.

This is an amazing guitar! Beautiful! Excellent value and playability. I use the lightest guage strings I can and despite what other people say about this guitar (sound not great) I find the sound to be "bright" rather than "tinny". There is nothing wrong with the way it sounds acoustically at all! I feel it projects quite well even with the light strings if you know how to work it. Plug it in and be amazed; make it sound like anything you want if you have the right amp. The action was a little high out of the box so I removed the stock strings, took out BOTH shims under the saddle and put some D'Addario 10-47's on it and all I can say is "WOW"! Made in China, who cares?! Don't pass up this one.

Considering the size and shape of this guitar it has great tone. Very bright and full. The roundback is extremely comftorable and the slimness eliminates that reaching over that you need to do on regular acoustic. Excellent guitar.

I've had this guitar since c Christmas now and from the moment I got it I knew it was the colsest to perfect I would get from a guitar.it is my first and best guitar but my mark is 4* because the frets buzz but all in all good guitar

I was reluctant to buy a guitar half made out of "plastic" until one day I played one at my local store and fell in love with it. I had to have it and ordered one right away. I love this guitar, its sound is different from others made out of 100% wood but is beautiful and well balanced.
The craftmanship is superb, the finish is flawless and internally the bracing is tight and without excess glue. The electronics are also great and provide to me more tonal possibilities when connected to my PA or my acoustic amp. This guitar is as good or better than others costing more. I recommend it.

Mine is my first Ovation a CC28 and I'm very pleased with it. It sounds beautifully different than an all wood guitar, plugged and unplugged. I use it to play and record fingerpick style music at home and I get very good results. With this one I have a total of 7 guitars and it is one of my favorites. I recommend it, you can't go wrong with this one.

What a great value. I've always loved the tone of Ovation guitars. This one has a bright sound thanks to a spruce top and Ovation's Lyrachord body. The preamp gives you a nice amplified sound plus it has a built-in tuner. You can't go wrong at this price!
