OZ Music Code Alphabet Soup (Mac)
Alphabet Soup is as addictive as a video game and just as fun!
A revolutionary sample playback utility for Mac OSX. This remarkably easy to use utility is destined to become a key component in the software arsenal of anyone who uses samples and loops in their music. Designed to be played like an instrument, Alphabet Soup's interface is a visual representation of your computer's keyboard. Just drag and drop your audio files onto the interface. From there you can trigger the loops and samples with your computer's keyboard. It's as simple as that.
Now here's the really cool stuff: Alphabet Soup allows you to use most any audio file type. Mono, stereo, 16 and 24 bit, WAV, AIF, MP3, Ogg Vorbis, SND and AU files can all be triggered at the same time! In addition, you also have control over volume and pan for each sound on each key! Just drag the dot at the top of each key left/right for pan and up/down for volume.
Alphabet Soup can be used to play single hit samples, loops, or very long files. Alphabet Soup strikes the perfect balance between powerful, simple and fun. It's perfect for DJs, remix producers, performance artists who use backing tracks, broadcasters and for anyone who needs to audition, or trigger sound effects. Included in the package are samples from Sonic Emulations and a free Alphabet Soup T-shirt. Alphabet Soup requires OSX 10.2, or later.
