The NI-SPEKTRAL DELAY offers exceptional possibilities for creative sound design — from subtle corrections and rich effects to extreme manipulations of the input sounds. It uses a real-time FFT (Fast Fourier Transformation) to split up each channel of audio input into as many as 1,024 individual frequency bands. The amplitude, delay time, and feedback ratio can be adjusted independently for each frequency band. Various modulation effects can be applied to the signal.
