The Mira is a guitar for today’s players with a classic feel and tone but with the quality and stability you’ve come to expect from a PRS instrument. This model features a thinner, solid mahogany body, 24-fret neck, matching pickguard and trussrod cover, Mira pickups, three-way pickup selector and a mini toggle coil tap. This combination of features lends a new voice to the PRS lineup. Includes a hard case.

I recently got this guitar from Sam Ash Tampa, and at first sight the finish is just awesome -Wild Mint-. Once you grab the guitar you feel the solid craftsmanship and just the right weight. The neck is just great and the tone and versatility is amazing. The only thing I'd say is that if you are a raw rocker and love a huge distorted sound with great harmonics you might wanna change the bridge pickup since the Mira humbucker gives you a more overdriven soft rock sound. I installed a Seymour Duncan JB and I can say that this can't get any better. I hope this baby stays with me for the next 15 years rocking around.

I use this guitar to do everything. I love this guitar, it is my favorite. I have a Les Paul Custom which is also great but different. I also have a Fender Strat and a Fender Tele which also are great guitars to play. I also have an Ibanez Artist (1982) that plays very well. Since I purchased the PRS Mira, I play it 90% of the time. It is the easiest to play and the smoothest. I adjusted the action to the way I like it, low, and have no buzz or problems with it. I mention the other guitars to let you know that I have a variety of them and have played many years on all of them.

....but it's a far cry from the upper-level guitars PRS produces.I liked the playability of the guitar and the tone was pretty good, but this guitar just feels cheap for a [$] price tage. The one I bought, and returned, had some problems with electronics...when I turned the volume control I'd get static and the pickups were a bit noisy. Also, when the higher frets were buzzing a lot, and I could only alleviate some of the buzzing.If the guitar was [$], I'd say well worth it. But for [$] I'd prefer a Les Paul, which is what I ended up with. Even that I felt was overpriced but it was a much better quality guitar than the Mira.
