It’s the perfect companion to guitarists on the go, whether as a portable practice amp or reliable street or subway companion Its lightweight but rugged design makes traveling with the Roland Micro Cube a delight but don’t be fooled by it’s small footprint…this baby brother rocks!

7 different Roland COSM guitar amp models are onboard giving you the flexibility to crank out any sound for any tune from any genre imaginable. The 6 built-in DSP effects taken from the popular BOSS library of effects include chorus, phaser, tremolo, flanger, and a separate Delay/Reverb.

A ¼” stereo headphone output doubles as a stereo line-out so the Micro Cube doubles as a guitar interface, complete with amp modeling and effects, ready to plug into your recording system or secondary amp of choice. Vote a value! There’s also a stereo AUX input so hook up your trusty iPod or MP3 player and serenade the crowd with a full mix. Superb! The included carrying strap makes it easy to stroll the streets with this 7-lb/5oz wonder.

The Roland Micro Cube runs on batteries (6 “AA”) or the included AC adaptor. You’ll get approximately 20 hours of power with the batteries, so prepare to chill and don’t make any plans to cut out early!

Wicked little amp; perfect for practicing-good sound quality for its size. I use this amp almost everyday because of its portability and durability. I had a Line 6 Micro Amp and traded it in for a Roland Micro Cube; I think its definitely more durable and sounds better.

this little amp is great for practice, or even as a pre amp for a p.a. on gigs. i love the different patches, it compliments the new Artcore i just bought very well. It doesnt have tons of power, but for its size, it has a big voice.
The fact it can run off batteries is also a great plus.

I use it every day and the sound is amazing. it is such a powerful amp in such a confined space. the effects are a nice touch, and i love all of the different sound settings.

I use this for practice mainly. I have a larger Roland for gigs. The microcube has a great many voices and I can use a pedal for additional sounds.
The down side is that many users have eventually blown the speaker out. According to the web sites Roland fails to sell the speaker. This is poor business in my eyes. They hook you with a great little amp then are not willing to service and repair it as needed. I don't want the amp to be a throw away piece of equipment.

It is fun to play and I'd really like to find a source for a new speaker. Any ideas would be appreciated.

This little amp totally ROCKS! Now I have seen reviews of this on the web from boneheads complaining that it can't be heard when jamming with a bass player and drums... HELLO, this is NOT a performance amp to be used on stage or against other musicians with full size amplification.
This is the PERFECT practice amp for, well, just about anywhere else.
The sound produced at low volumes from this amp are ASTONISHING;
full bodied and effectified. The ONLY way Roland could improve this little dynamo would be to add even more amp modules and additional effects.
GET ONE!

I am so glad I listened to the guitar sales person's advice because when I first heard it's amazing sound I was completely warped, I haven't stopped plying. Just because it's small, doesn't mean it has poor sound, it has the best quality sound I've ever heard out of a 5 inch speaker ever, even better than an 8 in speaker. And all the effects are simply amazing how they are all controled on two knobs. I think this amp is perfect for almost all types of blues, rock, and metal. If you need a real portable amp to travel with, or to just practice with at home....... GET THIS AMP!!

This is pure fun. Great tone and advanced controls make this a winner. Perfect for practicing in private. Set it 8 feet away on the floor with a small shim in front to kick it back. Stand away and hear how sweet this little gem is. One of my favorite amps.

The sounds on this amp make it the perfect simple practice amp. If you want to spend you time practicing instead of tweaking your tone, this amp is for you. All the tones sound great and provide lots of variety. This is the best little practice amp I've used. It is also extremely portable.
