This MEINL Medium-sized Wood Doumbek (7” head, 12” length) is carved from one solid piece of plantation-grown Mahogany Wood. The pre-tuned goatskin head is securely fastened over the comfortable, rounded, Egyptian style bearing rim. The Egyptian style is preferred for executing finger roll techniques. The tribal design ornamentation is hand carved. Although that this doumbek is very inexpensive, it is a real drum for serious playing.
