The CF Martin DCPA1 Acoustic-Electric Guitar boasts a bookmatched Sitka Spruce soundboard with Martin’s Hybrid "X" scalloped bracing. The back and sides are constructed from East Indian rosewood and provide a perfect tonewood combination. Martin employs Ovangkol binding along the body and finger board edges, giving the DCPA1 added aesthetic appeal and top shelf vibe. The DCPA1 sports a single cutaway body design that allows for extended range in your lead playing for when you need to access those upper register notes.
The select hardwood neck features a Black Richlite fingerboard adorned with arrow and square inlays. The slim taper profile will feel comfortable in your fretting hand. While the Martin DCPA1 is made with the finest original tonewoods, Martin is sensitive to the environmental issues of the rare hardwoods used in the traditional fingerboard. Richlite is an environmentally sustainable dense material made from renewable wood resources. Hard enough that it is used as a commercial kitchen countertop, it makes an environmentally responsible alternative to Rosewood and Ebony.
The CF Martin DCPA1 also features the easy to operate Fishman F1 Analog electronics system. Pickup system includes Sonicore under-saddle transducer with convenient side mounted volume and tone controls and on-board chromatic tuner.
