The Panther is the ultimate Black Panther snare having a endless variety of sounds and possibilites. A selected piece of Japanese solid steel pipe is crafted by man and machine into a 3mm solid steel seamless shell.
The body of the shell starts by cutting a 2mm section and then a 1mm sound control ring is added by further machining. Because of the unique stability of the shell, the tuning range is endless and the sound possibilities are limitless. This 14" x 5" drum can produce a low thunderous smack or be pitched high to deliver a crack with body and soul.
