The attack "tick" is almost completely hidden by the tone that this mallet produces. As a general bell mallet it will produce the big, brilliant sound needed for most orchestral bell parts. Birch shaft.
The four models in the Orchestra Series are constructed of the materials and weights selected by professional players as having the most practical application to the major orchestral parts of the late nineteenth and twentieth centuries. All orchestra models have 1 1/8 inch diameter heads.
