MOTU 2408 I/O Only (No PCI Card)
No other system even comes close to the 2408's remarkable combination of high-end features and raw number of simultaneous inputs and outputs. Provides 8 channels of 20-bit analog I/O, 24 channels of ADAT optical, 24 channels of Tascam TDIF, and stereo S/PDIF I/O. Provides sample-accurate digital transfers between the computer and ADATs (Sample-accurate sync is also possible with Tascam DA-38/88/98 via a Digital Timepiece synchronizer). Expandable to 72 channels. Compatible with all major audio audio programs on Mac and Windows. Also works as a stand-alone format converter between Tascam, ADAT, analog and S/PDIF up to 24 channels at a time.
