I've used this guitar for about 6 years and the sound quality is great! For a good heavy distortion sound I would recoment useing this guitar with a Peavey Amp. Although I have to say, when over the years when playing on clean it starts to have a buzz when i switch settings on the pickup switch. but over all its a very good guitar that stays in tune no matter how crazy you get on the wammy! And its got a nice D neck for good rythem or lead playng.

This guitar is amazing! I started playing it and could not put it down! Do not let the price fool you. It's a cheep priced guitar, but it plays like a very expensive guitar! Definitely worth the money!
