just what i was looking for , is a great drum for several types of music. also comes with an Evans batter head so thats a big plus. was easy to tune and has a great sound for the price.

BE WARNED! THE SNARE IN THE PIC IS NOT THE SNARE YOU WILL RECEIVE! The snare you will get is much better. The snare has a great all around sound. I'm really hard on a snare and this thing is great. I've had some $30 snares and some $250 snares, but this is the first one I didn't have to modify or even muffle at all. Just used it naturally, and it was amazing. My band plays everything from Merle Haggard to Pink Floyd and Marvin Gaye. It's great. Pick this snare up.
