this is the beast and the best drum set on that range that never plays before, and i think after! i play ludwig 20 years a go, i have two kits, mi first it´s a ludwig old school rockers set, and the power coustom is the new! this set it really power drum, whit clear and loud sound, im very happy and comfortable to play that! on the studio the response is very versatile, and on the the road is very powerfull!

I bought this thing for only[$]because i bought it from a store where i know the guy. SUCKERS. But im in a band with my friends and this thing has a good sound, i love the way the toms are setup on the mount, and where i bought it, it came with a crash/ride and a 14" hihat(SABIANS B8 baby) and i still have them cause they rock.[...]

I bought (2) of these sets 2 years ago, and have played local nite clubs, as well as outside concerts with them. I play a Rock-n-Roll jondra and these Drums spank of sweet resonnance!! Ludwig has captured pure quality with these (5) ply Birch shells. You can pay more, I'm not sure you can get more. Totally pleased,

I Have played drums for over 27 years and have played many drum sets. I have this set in the amber finish and i must say the finish is amazing! A birch set with great finish, nice hardware, thick rims, and has a great sounding deep bass, this set projects very well, the only thing I dont like is that this set is made in China and the badges are a little big for me! But for the money i would highly reccomend this drum set!

Look if your looking for the famous ludwig sound without putting alot of cash down, this is the set, i researched for many days, tama, dw, ect.
To get birch in other brands, you'll spend more money, plus i think the sound is a touch better, only other drums that comes close in my opinion is the dw's.

I purchased the black set and love it! It’s a fantastic set and well worth the money. It’s ideal for any level of experience. I purchased an additional floor tom and a Zildjian Classic Set-Up Box Set to complete the package. Wow! The set does not come with any setup instructions and the mount for the toms can be very challenging. I recommend you put a towel on the base drum before mounting the Toms to avoid scratching the drums. I highly recommend this drum set.

I recently bought this set at a store and it's great. it is the best drum set I've ever played. Sounds beautiful with my previous sets zildjin symbols. I recomend it to any one who needs an uprgade.

It seems like Ludwig disapeared for awhile. I used to play their stuff years ago. I got the itch to start playing again a few months ago but I had gotten rid of my kit years ago. I was happy to get a Ludwig kit just like I had before. I love it!

"I stop playing 20+ years ago. About 5 monthsago, i joined a contemp. christian group. and decided to give this set a try. Wow!!!! I never liked Ludwig. I have always been a Tama Fan. The sound that come out of these drumes are really really good. This set should sell for more! The amber colors is awesome under stage lighting!!!! Hardware is nice and thick!! My only complaint is the legs for the kickbass could have been better, but other that its a great set. I have the fusion set, and i'm going to add the 16 inch floor tom and a 13 inch tom as well. Lots of nice features!!!!!"
