The Les Paul Studio Faded features a solid maple top on a chambered mahogany body. In an effort to reduce the potential excessive weight, portions of the mahogany body have been strategically scooped out to maximize comfort; as well as enhancing acoustic qualities and improving resonance. The addition of a maple top gives players the familiar tonewood combination that produces that classic Les Paul sound. The vintage-style, “faded” worn finish gives the Les Paul Studio the look of a well-played vintage guitar. A quarter-sawn mahogany neck with a traditional 50s style full, rounded profile will feel great in your hands. This traditional style neck is adorned with a 12” radius rosewood fingerboard with the familiar trapezoid inlays that give the Les Paul its identity. The Les Paul Studio Faded boasts a pair of Gibson Burstbucker Pro Pickups pickups delivering that powerful growling tone that you’ve come to expect from a Les Paul. This latter day classic boasts a Tune-o-matic bridge, stopbar tailpiece for maximum sustain and vintage-style Kluson machine heads provide tuning stability.
