Latin Percussion LP559 Classic Series 11 3/4" Conga (Natural Finish with Chome Hardware)
LP Classic Model Congas were the first wood congas introduced by LP. They have become the standard by which other wood congas are judged. The specially selected, kiln dried, environmentally friendly Siam Oak construction adds to the drum's overall warm tone, while the unique shell contour brings out the drum's mid and high sound ranges.
Topped with hand picked natural rawhide heads, these 30" tall congas feature Comfort Curve® II Rims, 5/16" diameter tuning lugs and reinforced LP Heart® Side Plates, each secured with a backing plate. A layer of fiberglass is added to the inside upper portion of the shell, near the side plates, to provide additional strength.
LP Classic Model Congas come complete with LP ProCare Integraded Shell Protectors that prevent the side plate hardware from marking or damaging adjacent drums. This new compact design offers maximum protection without detracting from the drum's beauty. They also include an accessory pouch, a tuning wrench and LP Lug Lube.
