The LP Classic Accent Eddie Montalvo 11-3/4” Conga is part of the LP Classic Line, the first wood congas introduced by Latin Percussion that have become the standard by which all other wood congas are judged. In this 11-3/4” conga size, this drum is 30” long and is built of Siam Oak, with a 3-ply shell and a fiberglass layer added to the inside upper portion of the shell for additional strength.
The drum also features the finest natural rawhide head and the Comfort Curve II rim which is as strong and durable as it is easy and comfortable to play, even at a long gig or session. The best LP “heart”-style reinforced side plates and tuning lugs make tuning the drum precise and dependably stable. The side plates also feature ProCare shell protector so you can knock the drums around without harm.
