This workhorse begins with an ash body that is shaped and contoured to the specs of the 2 pickup American classic it is patterned after. The Skyline 44-60 Custom Vintage J Bass Guitar continues Lakland’s ongoing tradition of industry leading quality. The neck is made from flat-sawn Rock Maple with Graphite Reinforcement Bars, and features a vintage style tapered width that begins at 1.5” at the nut and expands to 2.5’ at the final fret. The rosewood fingerboard features traditional dot inlays and is topped off with 20 vintage size frets, maintaining vintage style specs.
Dual Lakland Single Coil pickups deliver that legendary American groundbreaking sound that helped change the direction of popular music, and the traditional 2 volume/master tone circuit allows you to shape your tone and cut through any mix. Finishing touches include a Lakland Dual Access bridge, which allows a choice of strings thru the body or a “top load” (string-thru-bridge) set-up. Case not included.
