Caliente Wood Bongos from LP Music Group offer the beginning or student player a quality set of bongos at an affordable price. Constructed with smaller 6 3/4" and 8" natural rawhide heads with shells made of kiln dried, environmentally friendly Siam Oak, they produce a rich, mellow sound with plenty of “slap”. LP Caliente Bongos are fitted with Cuban-style steel bottoms and 9/32" diameter tuning lugs.
The Caliente bongos are currently available in Natural Wood, Dark Wood (dark red) and Tobacco Sunburst lacquer finishes, all with gold-toned hardware. The latest addition is Blue Satin Stain finish with chrome-plated hardware.
