The Jackson David Ellefson CB-XV 5 String Bass Guitar is capable of an endless variety of tones and will hold down the bottom end for any type of performance situation. The CB-X will deliver the tone you need at a very affordable price.
The body of the Jackson David Ellefson CB-XV 5 String Bass Guitar is constructed from alder and features a classic double cutaway contoured Concert styled body. The electronics configuration features EMG humbucking neck (HZ40N) and bridge (HZ40B) pickups and EMG® BEQ3 active preamp that deliver a wide range of tones along with a massive bottom end. The controls feature a master volume and a master tone. A 3-band EQ provides endless tone shaping variety with bass, mid, and treble controls so you can find the tone that suits your style the best.
The bolt-on neck is constructed from quartersawn maple and carved to an extra-thin profile for maximum ease and playability. A 21 fret rosewood fingerboard features a 12”-16” compound radius that will give you extended range if you’re doing a solo spot. The blacked out hardware includes set of Jackson tuners and a High Mass V Bridge with 5 individual saddles for improved sustain. Case not included.
