this is a excellent pair of bongos for a beginner like myself.i purchased this set about 10 months ago. i had no bongo experience and these were perfect.even though after u tune them up and loosen them,with time the chrome starts to chip.not sure but it could be normal wear and tear, [...] quality sound.they definitely get the job done and they serve their purpose."
