I have used these speakers for sound reinforcement at outdoor boxing events, body building shows, and DJ gigs. Plenty of output, easy to transport and set up.

I bought a pair.. had to buy a samson S to increase DB. connected directly to my pc and my home theater was louder. Connectd to my Denon mixer and my laptop out put was descent at very high volume output from th elaptop and the mixer. people started to come in party was ok around 100 people i was embarrased and asked my friend to lend me some speakers, het got a Gemini GVX series he got for 350 and the gemini was louder than my 2 eons together what a ripped off by JBL

Just returned these after testing them for quite a while. There is no other way to describe these things other than totally underpowered. They clip almost immediately and begin to sound like tin cans. DO yourself a favor and get some SRM450s and forget these. Honestly I wanted to love them - they seemed perfect stat wise but nothign can compare to real life experience - and these failed miserably.

The build quality is good and they do have a nice look to them. They are lightweight for sure. They fall short at the most important aspect though - sound quality. If you only want to do 20 people events - be my guest and buy these - buy if you want any sort of professional level outputs look elsewhere.

they do not sound as great as i expected,
used them with 18 subs and they still sound bad.
the factory EQS sound almost the same.at bas boost they clip alot.whats the point of it.
