14 years ago JBL introduced what was to become the de facto standard in self-powered, portable PA systems with the original EON Series. Today, JBL has raised the bar significantly with the latest incarnation of their famous EON series of active powered PA speakers. The new generation JBL EON 210P portable PA system is an easy to carry, simple to set up self-contained sound system worthy of the name JBL.
The JBL EON 210P portable pa system consists of two passive 2-way 10” full-range speakers, a powered mixer, a storage module for cables and microphones, 1 pair of unshielded speaker cables and 1 power cable. It’s everything you need to get up and running quickly and efficiently with a stellar sounding PA system that fills the room with uncompromising sound quality.
Behind The Grille
Each EON 210P speaker has a 10” JBL woofer and” tweeter housed in a tough, handsome, modernly designed polypropylene enclosure covered by a powder-coated perforated steel grille. A built-in crossover ensures that the incoming power from the EON 210P powered mixer is properly distributed to the correct components for system optimization resulting in clear, precise, robust sound that will have your audience’s attention from the outset of your performance right till the end. A built-in pole socket makes it easy to mount each speaker on a speaker stand while a stabilizing screw keeps the speaker locked into place.
The Mixer
JBL joined forces with Soundcraft and Crown to design the perfect powered mixer to compliment the passive EON speakers. Just detach the mixer from the rear of the speaker and…¡Voila! You have a cleverly-designed, well thought out powered mixer adorned with some great, useful features that make entertaining your audience a dream! Starting with 8 ¼” combo jack inputs (4 x Mono Mic/Line and 2 x stereo) along with 2 sets of monitor outputs (1/4” TRS and RCA stereo), each channel has its own dedicated volume control, bass and treble EQs, and an effects return.
Features Aplenty
Peak indicator lights let you know if the mixer is simply active (green) or overdriving the system to distortion (red). A stereo min-jack allows you to connect an MP3 playback device or CD player and a handy headphone output enables you to listen in private. Handy, high-quality built-in effects mean there’s no need for an externally attached effects unit. Also, while one EON speaker enables the snug attachment of the powered mixer, the other speaker has a handy storage module which attaches the same way as the mixer.
DSP Effects
There are 3 different reverbs and 1 “slapback” delay/echo on board. You’ll be able to quickly and easily select and dial in the perfect ambience to augment your sound. The handy Effect Bypass function makes it simple to disarm the effects in one push of a button. When the gig comes to an end, you just reattach the mixer to the back of the speaker and you’re ready to travel to your next gig!

The JBLWarranty on professional loudspeaker products (except for enclosures) remains in effect for five years from the date of the first consumer purchase. JBL amplifiers are warranted for three years from the date of the original purchase. Enclosures and all other JBL products are warranted for two years from the date of the original purchase.
