This was the very first guitar I ever owned. I was unsure what style I wanted to play, so I decided to get an acoustic/electric until I made up my mind. This product was the essence of my grand experiment as I taught myself the ins and outs of guitar.

I loved rock and thought it would be cool to learn how to play some of my favorite songs. So, I started out with flat picking acoustically so I could hear and perfect every error without the bombardment of electric distortion. When I improved I decided to try it out electrically. It was a easy as plug in and press a button. Though I loved to listen to rock music, I learned that I prefered to play acoustically. From there on, I stuck to converting rock songs to playable acoustic versions. This quality of acoustic sound from this instrument is so rich.

After two years of acoustic flat-picking, I discovered the art of fingerstlye guitar. This style of playing just blew me away. I abandoned my picks and have been playing fingerstyle on this guitar ever since.

So, I can't really help you if you're looking for a review about the electric side of this guitar because I don't know much about it. Acoustically, however, you won't be disapointed.

My biggest complaint about this product is its maintenace. No matter how hard or how often you clean it, it's overwhemled with all sorts of dirt and dust. Even if you have a case, you still have this problem the moment you take it out for like five minutes! I've noticed occassional buzzing when I play, but that might just be my instrument. I plan on taking it to the guitar doctor soon to find out what's wrong.

Overall - this product is great for beginners and those with small hands.

It stays tuned for a long time, its shape is a really good shape it feels like a natural guitar. Over all it has no major flaws and you you can plug it into an amplifier and it has an electric tuner!!!
