[...] At first I bought it because I read it was an all around good guitar and I didn't know what I was into, but now that I know my style (Blues, Jazz, Funk, etc) I'm looking for something that better suits me. Overall though this guitar is well-rounded, perfect for a rookie looking for his sound, the pickups are alright they could be WAY better and the action on it is a bit to high for me, although if your a beginner that's into metal this guitar will be the PERFECT starter for you.

i've loved the guitar since the moment i brought it home!, its got a great sustain and a tremendously powerfull sound for such a delicate and profesional looking guitar. very easy to play and its got 5 differt stations of play. very versital in its musical limits. probably one of the most underpriced guitars out there that will definentally prove to be the best performance to cash ratio on the market today. this guitar has increadible sound quality and can go from playing very high pitched solos to heavey riffs withought adjustments. if i had to say so myself it plays more like a guitar priced in the 600-800 dollar range. definentally a great choice for a player starting to develope a greater amount of skill in there playing, basically its suitible for pro-playing as well as an intermediate player. although it could prove to be a little more than needed when coming to beginers but could serve the purpose.

"This guitar has 5-way switching, not 3 like the specs have, but what's most interesting about that is that the 5-way switching includes settings for series and parallel configurations of the humbuckers! I've never seen another stock guitar of this level that came with split-coil pickups that could be switched between serial and parallel. I love this guitar and can honestly say it's one of the best I have ever had the chance to play."

First off it has a 5-way switch not a 3-way like the specifications say. It's in the same price range as most places will try to sell you a GIO and has a smoother less crunchy sound than an RG. The SAT Bridge is very comfortable and holds tune good. Overall good action very easy to play smoothly.
