Ibanez achieved this by making the S body thin around the edges for comfort and fat around the pickups and bridge for massive tone and sustain.
The thin Wizard II maple neck plays fast and high-gain IBZ INF humbuckers make this guitar impossible to beat. The double-locking ZR Zero Resistance trem with ball bearings offers smooth and stable arming. Zero Resistance technology, yet another Ibanez tremolo improvement, replaces standard knife-edge pivots with a ball-bearing based pivot joint, which provides greater tuning stability and friction-free smooth action.
