This iconic guitar is outfitted with a metal approved dual humbucker with a single coil middle pickup electronics schematic that will deliver the metal tone you crave. The bridge and neck pickups are high output, Ibanez designed Hot Grinder humbuckers, and the Short Tracer single coil in the middle is also designed by Ibanez. The Prestige S5470Q has a 5 way pickup switch which allows for infinite tonal possibilities in tandem with a simplified 2 knob volume-tone control system.
The 5 piece Maple/Walnut neck on the Ibanez Prestige S5470Q Electric Guitar is adorned with a bound rosewood fingerboard, pearloid inlays and 24 jumbo frets on an ultra-flat 15.74” radius which allows for maximum velocity soloing and effortless string bending. The Prestige S5470Q is topped off with an Ibanez Zero Resistance locking tremolo system, which operates on ball bearings, and will stabilize your tuning and withstand even the most aggressive soloing.
