When I close the lid, there is so much pressure against the bridge and the volume knobs that the case actually bows! I don't even latch it down anymore because I'm afraid of hurting the guitar. I can't believe it. Latches feel cheap, lock is a joke, handle is fragile. This is a real shame--I feel personally insulted by Ibanez.

This was the hardshell case that came with a used guitar purchase. In fact, the guitar came packed only in this case with some packing tape to help it stay shut. The case is THAT sturdy. There never seems to be a photo of the inside of this case so I will describe it as very plush, and form fitted for S style Ibanez guitars. The body outline is too small for a Strat (I tried). There is a large, enclosed storage compartment under the neck of the guitar which fits almost anything you'd want to carry with you. However, as the case is made out of wood, it is quite heavy and cumbersome for taking the guitar on a stroll about town.
