The lightweight, aero-foil shaped basswood body provides comfort, upper fret access and expressive singing tones. A 25.5 scale neck with a rounder radius (12") is great for chording in the low register and more comfortable string bending in the upper frets. i havent played this guitar yet but it looks awsome . as soon as i saw this guitar i was like o my God that is an awsome guitar. the inlay at the last fret really made me go for it because it said joe satriani. the only thing i dont like about it is the price. this is the best guitar ive seen yet.

This is an amazing guitar. I just bought it and it's incredible. I love the neck, the tremolo, the body, the finish, my only issue is the pickups. They're ok, but it would be better if it has Dimarzio's. I'm gonna put some FRED's in it soon to make it even hotter. This guitar has good sustain and I've gotten compliments on the trans red finish. I would recommend this guitar to anyone who wants a great-feeling and great-sounding guitar.

I bought this guitar used a few months ago and i love it. The only i would advise you to consider before buying is the Floyd Rose hookup on it. It is great if you never change your tuning but if you do like to change tunings easily either get a different guitar or buying a guitar for each tuning you want to use. Besides that this is a really freakin awesome guitar.

"This guitar is sexy... and I do love playing it. I've replaced the stock pickups with a Fred & PAF Pro, so electronically it's just like the JS1000. However, I don't care for the Edge Pro II. It's basically Ibanez's answer to the crappy Lo-TRS. I find myself getting out of tune often after using it... and I use my whammy a lot. I've tried adjusting the springs, changing out strings, etc. to see if that would have made any difference... no luck. My Ibanez RG has the older Edge system and I can get pretty rough with it and it'll always stay in tune on me! The JS1000, however, has the Edge Pro system (not the II model) which is Ibanez's answer to the already awesome Edge. Too bad they're not interchangeable. I've had this for almost a year now and I feel I should have spent the extra money for the JS1000 since the whammy is pretty useless for me. I plan to sell my JS100 and get my hands on a JS1000 or maybe locate an older Ibanez Radius model (which is basically what the JS bodies are based off of)... and usually, they're outfitted with the Edge system. Meanwhile, I can still play on my RG."

Ive had 3 guitars before this and this is nothing compared to my other ones. It may be a little expensive for some people but it is defineatly worth the money. The free floating whamie bar lets you do about anything. Overall a crazy guitar and is a good choice for someone who will be playing a lot.(Dont get it if ur not going to play it a lot) VERY AWESOME GUITAR
