I bought a RoadRunner brand base case a little big but it fit very snug good protection I recommend you look at one I tried the C1000 Ibanez case diddnt like the fit at the headstock.

IC100C is cheep.

I have owned this case and my Ic400 guitar since I was 19. The Ic400 case dose fit my guitar just fine, nice and snugg. I have had no problems with it.I have traviled with it to giggs and to get my guitar moded out. One con that was ponited out by AL Santangelo was that there is no pading were the horn of the guitat sits. I suggest placing your own pading there. Thats what I have done. Sometimes you gotta mod your gear to help you better.

For [$] and described as 'designed' for the Iceman, this is really just a rectangular case with a piece of the padding removed for the Iceman's upper horn. Because of that, the upper horn is separated from the actual side of the case by nothing more than the fur material -- no padding between the horn and the hard part of the case. The older discontinued Iceman cases were fitted and had about a half-inch to an inch of padding between that horn and the case. This is a bad call by Ibanez, not Sam Ash, every dealer had the same description from Ibanez. Basically, this is nothing more than a case that is the same width as the guitar so the guitar 'fits' because there's no room for it to move. If you have one of the low-end Iceman guitars then go ahead and get this case, but if you have the IC400 or a vintage model worth anything, wait and buy one of the original cases used from somewhere. For what this case does, you could buy a bass case for half the price and use a towel or something to make it fit properly.
