The Agathis body used for the Ibanez GSR200 provides the player with warm lows and strong sustain. The GSR200 offers all the tone, comfort and rigorous setup and inspection found on similar Ibanez high end basses. The "P+J" pickup configuration along with two volume and two tone controls make this bass a flexible and affordable performer.

Bought the black one off the rack at a friend's music store as a temporary bass while i was rehabbing my '83 G&L SB-2, which i love dearly. This little guy with a bit of twekn' has turned out to be a very nice playing & sounding bass. I was quite surprised by it all! As most of the other owners are saying, fret bzzz is #1 enemy here. Throw some light gauge on, nothing over a "95" top(E), find a good guitar dude to adjust it. ENJOY, ENJOY!!

This bass should only be considered as a very first bass guitar that a beginner would play. It's playing quality is very low, but that's assumable because of it's low price as well. It's good to pick up this guitar at first, but if you want to become a serious bass player you will definitely need to upgrade.

well i got this bass from a pawn shop so i went out and got some rotosound flat strings and cleaned the neck and it sounds amazing
ive had it for a year and a half and the only thing it could maybe use is a bit better pick ups but the range of styles is very good for an intermediate bass

Out of the box, it had some fret buzz, but a Sam Ash technician in Nashville and his magic hands switched out the strings (to Ernie Balls), fine tuned the frets, and made it sound just fantastic!

It's my perfect road guitar. Plays great, but it's not so costly that you have to worry every time an airline or TSA employee gets near it.

This is my first bass, it doesnt go out of tune, feels and looks great. But the "G" string buzzes, i even raised the string and it still buzzes, still a good guitar though.

Well in samash they dont have the sunburst one for sale like in the picture but in zzounds they do, so i have the ibanezgsr200fm(fm standing for flame maple or something) wich is the same just prettier but ibanez is REALLY good cause when you want to you can play soft and when you dont you can play soft and this Banjo sounds perfect through my samson powered mixer and peavey speakers wich i also bought at samash.....Perfect guitar, dont keep reading this click the buy button you wont regret it.
