Upon first glance you’ll notice a stylistic resemblance to their iconic Iceman; from which the inspiration for the Fireman was born. The mahogany body is carved into a comfortable contoured shape that mirrors a ‘reversed’ Iceman. An extra cut on the lower bout allows easier access to the upper register frets. The Fireman is equipped with a trio of hum-cancelling DiMarzio single coil pickups loaded with Alnico magnets that will deliver the tone you need even at the highest gain levels.
The mahogany neck on the Fireman is carved from mahogany and features a slightly fatter neck profile. This type of profile is departure from the thinner shaped necks Ibanez is known for, and pays tribute to designs of iconic guitars of the past. The end result is a more classic feel and thicker sound. The simplified electronics feature a master volume and tone and a 5-way switch. Chrome hardware includes an Ibanez Tight-Tune bridge and tailpiece that will maximize sustain and stabilize tuning. Case not included.
