The Light Ash body features a double cutaway “long horned” style that separates the BTB675 from the rest of the herd. The Walnut top offsets the Light ash each other perfectly, while providing maximum resonance and tone. The body is also heavily contoured and beveled to maximize player comfort.
The neck features a 5pc Maple/Bubinga construction and is carved into a "Slim & Fast" profile to give you great playability. A maple fingerboard is topped off with 24 frets.
The Bartolini MK1-5 pickups provide players a powerful and aggressive tone. The Ibanez BTB676 6 String Bass features an onboard EQB-IIISC 3-band EQ, with Mid-frequency switch and EQ bypass switch, allowing you unlimited possibilities in tone-shaping. The Mono-Rail Bridge is the ultimate in string isolation for bass. Each saddle is independently and securely locked down to the body for maximum vibration transfer and no interference. One screw controls the height of each saddle for easy adjustment. Case not included.
