Ibanez BTB200 4 String Bass (Iron Pewter Flat)
At last, the BTB series breaks the price barrier! Ibanez offers a hard-rocking bass with a sinister appearance at a great price with the BTB200. The agathis body has some wide-angle curves and an Iron Pewter finish that's accented by gunmetal hardware. Features a slim 3-piece maple neck and rosewood fingerboard. For that killer low-end punch, this bass is fitted with a DX-N4 pickup in the neck position and a DX-B4 at the bridge. Other features include a B100 bridge, Phat II EQ, and large-knob tuners. Case not included.

"i just got my ibanez BTB200 in the mail about two and a half hours ago ago. i have played similar level peavys and fenders but this thing takes the cake. fisrt thing you notice is that this rock solid looking bass is light as a feather. well, a really big feather fitted with electronics, and made of wood. but you get the idea. no sore neck here. i have been playing it non stop since i ripped it out of the package and i feel like playing for another two and a half. the other thing is the crystal clearity of the tone. for the cash i think you would be hard pressed to find some better sound. i have a really beat up, blown out POS amp i use for practice, and those PHAT IIs made it sound exponentially better. good controll. you have balance, and EQ. enough controll to get the sound you want but not too much tech so that you are fiddling with knobs constantly. i seriously think that some people dont even know what some of their knobs are for on the upscale models. the body and neck on this thing are insane. it took me about 15 minutes to ge used to the feel of the bass, and after that it was all out. i have been ripping out sabbath on this thing and i am happy as hell. if you play hard rock/ heavy metal you will love this guitar. an equally sinister look for a devestating guitar. granted it isnt a fodera, and the K5 could bury it but not all of us have a grand for a bass. if your on a medeum budget i highly suggest this guitar. only downside, stock strings suck. i slapped on some halfwounds almost immediatly."
