The Artist ARZ800 Electric Guitar goes beyond the boundaries of traditional single cutaway guitars. Simple and effective, the ARZ800 is a classic styled guitar built for modern metal players. The mahogany body produces traditional warm tones and is dressed up with a highly figured quilted maple top. The set-through maple/mahogany neck has been shaped in to an extra thin profile for high velocity soloing and sports a bound rosewood fingerboard with 22 medium-jumbo frets that will facilitate effortless string bending and take you far beyond the tonal possibilities of traditional single-cutaway guitars. The scoop cut on the back of the neck allows for smooth playing at higher frets; providing unrivaled playability.
The Artist ARZ800 is equipped with EMG® 60/81 humbucker pickups. EMG® 60 neck pickup packs plenty of output with a balance of tones that is classic-thick; boosted mids, big lows, and fat highs. EMG® 81 bridge pickup gives detailed intensity, incredible amounts of high end cut, and fluid sustain; making the Artist ARZ800 ideal for today's players, who demand both heavy power chords and shredding solos. The simplified controls feature master volume and tone controls and a 3-way pickup selector switch. Rounding out the hardware is a rigid Tight-Tune bridge with a stopbar tailpiece to maximize tuning stability and will withstand even the most aggressive soloing. Case not included.
