Ibanez offers a new take on traditional hollow bodied electric guitars. The AGR70 Artcore Hollow Body Electric Guitar is a traditional arch top jazz guitar that is suited for other styles as well. The hollow body features a maple top, back, and sides; and the Black finish oozes pure traditional old school vibe and elegance. The electronics schematic features a pair of Ibanez ceramic Mini-Humbuckers. You’ll get tons of smooth, warm blues and jazz tones with bottom-end to spare from the neck pickup, as well as having the option to switch to high-end twang from the bridge pickup.
The neck on the Ibanez AGR70 is carved from a 3 piece Mahogany/Maple laminate into a comfortable, tapered profile which starts at a 20mm thickness at the 1st fret to a full 26.5mm at the 12th fret. The tapered neck will feel at home in your fretting hand. A bound rosewood fingerboard with luxurious pearl block inlays and jumbo frets will facilitate total ease of playability. The chrome hardware compliments the old school vibe beautifully. Case not included.
