The body features a spruce top, paired with a maple back, and sides. A Sunset Red finish oozes pure traditional old school vibe. The electronics schematic features a single Ibanez ceramic Humbucker. You’ll get tons of smooth, warm jazz tones with bottom-end to spare.
The neck on the Ibanez AF81 is carved from a 3 piece Mahogany/Maple laminate into a comfortable, tapered profile which starts at a 20mm thickness at the 1st fret to a full 26.5mm at the 12th fret. The tapered neck will feel at home in your fretting hand. A bound rosewood fingerboard with luxurious Artcore DX inlays and jumbo frets will facilitate total ease of playability. Case not included.
