Ibanez AEF30E Single Cutaway Acoustic Electric Guitar
The Ibanez AEF30E Acoustic-electric Guitar boasts features and looks that you would normally find on a guitar 3 times its price. The body is slightly slimmer than most acoustic guitars and produces a bright tone that is great for any performance situation. The tone of the Ibanez AFE30E is the product of an all-maple body construction featuring a stunning flame-maple top. The thin-profile mahogany neck is topped with a rosewood fingerboard with pearl block and abalone inlays and gold die-cast tuners. Players who normally play solid-body electrics will find the Ibanez AEF30E particularly comfortable.
The Ibanez AEF30E can be amplified through an onboard Fishman Sonicore Pickup system and Ibanez SST Shape Shifter Preamp. The pickup is fitted under the saddle and helps preserve both the aesthetic and structural integrity of the guitar. The Ibanez AEF30E is also equipped with an easy to operate onboard tuner. Case not included.
The Ibanez AEF30E Acoustic-Electric Guitar is a perfect choice for players who are looking for a versatile, beautiful instrument at a price that is easily within reach. Order yours from Sam Ash Direct today with the security of our 45/60 day return/price protection policy.

Comments about Ibanez AEF30E Single Cutaway Acoustic Electric Guitar (Assorted Colors):
Great deal, purchased in fall of 08 with 15% extra off. This is my first guitar and wanted one that had the option to plug in to amp, with onboard tuner and also not too large on the body. I have shorter arms and wanted one that I could hug around. I took home the floor sample and waited only a week for the new one to arrive. Sam Ash adjusted the neck/fret on the new one... OMG, what a difference in playability!!! Fret buzz was reduced along with finger fatigue after the adjustments. Sounds great plugged in! Great finish in the Vintage Violin!!! Highly recommended and only gave 4 stars since I am a newbie and didn't want to overrate.

This is a great guitar. I own This guitar in the Marine Sunburst finish. I do have to say if you are looking into buying this guitar in the marine sunburst finish, ignore the picture above because it wont be as bright and you cant see the great detail of the sunburst quality. I was a bit disapointed because the blue doesnt appear in the headstock nearly as much as it does in the picture. I would highly recomend changing the strings on the guitar after you purchase it. I like the tuner built it. Its very convienent at gigs but dont let the fact that it has a tuner in it help your decision on if this guitar is right for you. Another thing is ive seen this guitar in different finishes and in stores and from freinds and the problem is most of them have had a sort of damage since the purchase of the guitar. Mine is damaged on the inside. Ive seen a few like that. Ive also seen a few models that when the pick-ups were screwed in, it cracked the wood. There is also a microphone type output . The problem is there is no covor for that output so you need to take good care of it. Overall it is a great guitar,I just recomend you take good care of it.

Comments about Ibanez AEF30E Single Cutaway Acoustic Electric Guitar (Assorted Colors):
I've owned the AEF30 for a few years now. I have the one prior to the on-board guitar tuner, but I love this guitar. For being a mid-priced electric/acoustic, it plays very well, sounds great, and I've never had any trouble with it. I use it to play out live and I use it to jam at home. I play it through a Zoom acoustic guitar processor (to get an Alex Lifeson type sound) and I also hooked up a Roland GR synth pick-up and run it through my Roland GR-20 Guitar Synth and it sounds GREAT! I highly recommend this guitar. I have the purple one, but I'm going to buy the Marine Blue as soon as I can.
