In the very early 1960’s, a soon to be legendary group known as The Beatles were honing their craft as performers and songwriters in Hamburg, Germany playing grueling, marathon nights in the club circuit. During this formative period, both John Lennon and George Harrison were playing Hofner CT Club guitars. Hofner now has brought back these legendary guitars at a very affordable price.
Originally a fully hollow bodied guitar, Hofner upgraded this model by adding a sustain block for a more modern sound. By virtue of its compact body dimensions, it is less susceptible to feedback, even at high volume.
The vintage rock & roll tone is generated by a pair of original Höfner 'Diamond' pick-ups. A trapeze tailpiece rounds out the nickel-plated hardware. Case not included.
