Hercules GS414B Single Auto Grab Guitar Stand

I got this stand about a year ago when I first started playing. It is absolutely great. I use it to hold my guitar 24/7. I never have to worry about it falling out because of the safety lock. Every contact point is cushioned so you don't have to worry about that. I go back and forth between my moms house and my dads house so when I travel I put my guitar in its case and I bring my trusty stand with me. It's very easy to fold up and hit the road. I hope I have helped you make your choice. This is a great product.

From the bottom. If you accidentally apply too much weight to the grabber it will pull out of the tubing. I tripped on a cord, lost my balance my hand hit / landed on the grabber (no I wasn't drunk) and out it came. So as I own three of these things I came up with a fix. Put the grabber back in the tube drill a hole up from the bottom and run a nice looking machine screw down from the top add a washer and a lock nut and if a klutz does what I did you'll be OK. This would not have happened under normal circumstances as this is a very good product and I highly recommend it.

Purchased this stand to protect the nitro finish on my Martin guitar, but has become my favorite stand for all my guitars. Very stable and well built. Light and foldable for easy transport. Fits acoustic and electrics (except for tele-styles due to headstock design). My future stand purchases will be Hercules brand!

This stand's auto-grip feature is simply perfect. Well-padded and secure closure that opens up automatically as you pick up the instrument. And it's really smooth and intuitive; you just pick it up and it takes take of everything else. It's PERFECT!!! I usually hate everything, but every time I use this I glow with appreciation that somebody got something just right.
