Hartke finally gives the keyboard player some much-needed attention with this powerful full-range, 2-way professional monitoring system. Sonically, keyboards and electric basses are similar in many ways. Hartke found that their legendary aluminum cones do for keyboards exactly what they do for bass: Namely pump out crisp, rich, beautiful tone.

This amp is awsome. I use it for church concerts or small projects. I owned the KB50 by Roland and a Pevey amp, can't remember the model, for many yrs.

It grants you the option of plugging additional instruments or mic(s) in with your keyboard, and it won't effect the sound quality, but I wouldn't recommend it.

I have a Roland RD700sx, Motif rack and O1W rack. I bought this amp 2 weeks ago and played on a large venue 1500 capacity. the amp was loud but the sound was not clear. Call support and (very fast response) I had a bad tweeter. I returned to the store last week and tried the KC-550 and the NEW KM200 and it was a no brainer.. for $100 more the sound was much better. I like the features of the Harke and look, but if you require a precise and punchy sound.. the Roland is better. So now I have a KC550. The look is not the only thing that matters :)

dudes, this is the greatest combo keyboard amp ever!! Ive been playin the keys for 19 years goin on 20, and ive got to say, its the best yet.

great features, sounds good, but not well put together. It's already been in the shop once, and needs to go back again. I've only had it for 6 months. I would go with the Roland.

"I've been a fan of Hartke bass amps from the first time I heard them but they didn't offer anything for keyboard players - until now. Very powerful bottom end, the 15"" woofer does the trick. Super clean hi end too."
