The HyDrive HX810 was designed for demanding players who need critical performance at intense volume levels.

And the HyDrive HX810 is a sealed, quad-chambered cabinet, featuring the highest quality plywood, extensive bracing and dado joinery, making it rigid yet lightweight for superior projection of sound and true sonic clarity.

With the HX810 you get eight 10-inch 250 watt HyDrive neodymium hybrid cone drivers, providing 2,000 watts of hammering bass power in the lightest 8 x 10 cabinet around. That's more than double the power capacity of any other 8 x 10. To get this much power from traditional paper cones, you would need a cabinet that had 20 speakers and weighed nearly 400 pounds! I purchased this cab after trying it with my amp and bass at the columbus ohio store. It sounded great. I made the purchase, and took it right to a gig that nite.I played my rickenbacker 4003 thru my sansamp rbi thru my crown k2 power amp into this cab.After the first set i realized this cabinet is the missing link to my tone.Very bright tone,yet amazingly great puncuation on the drop d songs,something my ampeg cabs never did.I am finally totally happy with every poin t of my tone.

I find this easier and faster to set up than 2 4/10 cabs(Like I had been doing). It is hard to try every cab out there. I looked for a month online for the most sound for the right price range and this baby is sweet. I`m using a Hartke 5500 Hd. or Peavey VB2 tube Hd. with a Fender P-Bas and everyone in the band loves this cab.I`m glad I didn`t spend more on another brand. This is a great deal.I`m waiting for a large gig so I can use with the two 4/10 cabs. Fun!

This amp is killer! Best I've used in my last 10 years of playing. Don't get me wrong, Ampeg and all the other brands are incredible, but the Hydrive series cabs take the cake. Punchy, extra loud, and versatile only describes the tip of what this cab sounds like. Go to your local shop and try one out. You WON'T be disappointed.

I've only had this this a couple days but I can say this is an amazing cabinet. This thing is well built and awesome just to look at. Sometimes I find myself just staring at it. It took some tweaking at first to get the sound I liked, but I think that's only because the sound spectrum it offers is so wide. Because of it's clarity this thing almost doesn't sound loud. You can tell it is though because you can feel it. Additionally, things in the room that you didn't notice before start making all kinds of rattling noises and falling off of elevated resting places. As a basic rule I decided not to crank it too much in my house because I'm sure it will break the seals in all the double pane windows. The cabinet is a little lighter then I expected but it still would be helpful to have someone help getting it up and down stairs. The only problem I had with it was at medium volume levels the grill rattled a little. But by using my supreme intellect I tightened the screws that secured it with something called a screwdriver. "wallah"
Good thing I'm not a drummer!
