The giant 28” version of the Meanie® Hybrid has a bit of a low roar, but is more complex and sensitive. Ride the Meanie® on the nose for a very dry sound. It is very sensitive in riding to the point along the stick so try moving your stick up and down the nose while riding. Meanie® hybrids can approach pure white noise in complexity.

After years building musical instruments and founding Om Percussion, well known for their bar chimes, in 1993 John Stannard began hammering bronze. On the island of Bali he studied forging in the fire pits. The education was more spiritual than intellectual.
