This pedal should not be bought by intermediate or advanced drummers. The screws mess up, the springs pop every two beats, and the chains popped once every week. This pedal might be a good one for a beginner at double bass...but for any drummer at a higher level, save up the money and go with the tama iron cobra or the pearl powershifter(much better pedals). And yeah my parents bought it for me thinking like all other parents do... "its just as good as the more expensive one only less money" I regret that

this pedal is great for the beginner double bass pedal. i got this pedal because it was soo cheap and i needed a pair to play in the band I'm in. Let me say THOSE SPRINGS ARE SO FREAKIN ANNOYING. every five min. or so i have to keep re-tightening them.
ive had them for a good two years and amazingly their still around. Oh well bottom line is if ur advanced get something better NOT THESE

parents bought it for me, going for the cheapest double bass pedal. sure shows it. this product pops for the primary pedal, so i always have to rescrew the spring. Resetting the pedal. Very Frustrating. Trying to repair it now.

My uncle got these for me for Christmas. I originally wanted the Pearl Powershifter pedals, but he thought that all bass pedals were the same, so he got me the cheapest pair, I was sad:( But if you are beggiining double bass (LIke I was) then you may like these. Let me tell you though, it is hard to get going fast on the left pedal, even if you have the springs tight or loose, which speaking of springs, the springs were and are terrible. It is easy to do a few beats on these, but they were not desgined for fast playing. All in all, these pedals are ideal for beginners, but not for Intermediate or advanced players. They should know these SUCK!!!
