This kit has everything that I was looking for: great tone, stunning looks, affordable price. It's made in China, but in this case, that doesn't mean poor quality. The stock heads are garbage. Once you change those, and you should immediately, you begin to see how dynamic this kit can be. They aren't going to sound just like a $3,000 kit, but they come close enough for a quarter of the price.

I don't have mine in cases. You should if you can afford it because you will damage the finish, but I guarantee you that the tone will not suffer from the bumps and bruises.

I think this drum set is very good. I don't own it but i do use it a lot (at church). The thing I like best about this set is that it can go with any type of music from Jazz and Rock all the way to Reggae. So if your going to think about buying a Drum kit you should definitely consider this one.

I love the set. However the snare had an odd ring to it. I fixed this easily with some aquarian rings. Other than that... It's great!

I use This gretch series at the local church. Playing a veriaty of music such as contemp, jazz, tejano, cumbia, rock r&b, and slow worship. this set provides the perfact sound for each style. Very cofertable and easy to adjust for each style and drummer. the tom holders and equipment are awsome. making it easy to add toms or symbols. And the price was incredible!

Ive had this kit for a few month's and it scratches very easy.
I realy dont care. I didnt get it to look at it.
if you want your drums to look good. these look realy great, but only on the very thin suface.
other than that I dont have any complaint's.
the hardware is great.
the first two tom's mounted on the bass are very versatile.
the snare is realy better than I expected. the floor toms are realy great too. I would just like to get them off the floor and on to a more versatile stand. I am tall so using the standard legs they come with I cant get them high enough or the right angle but thats an easy fix.
with the money I saved I was able to get a nice Cymbol pack from Sabian, ROC-SOC lunar model throne with Back rest and Nitro shock,(Ive had back surgery so its great for me),Drum Dial,
two cheap cymbol stands,and all new drum heads
batter and resanant.
Im sure any thing that you prefer would soud great.
Im using Evans EC2 clear fusion batter heads and Evans Genra resanant. On the snare I use Evans SD14 white coated HD, snare side Remo Emperor.
I got all of this for less than the price of some high end shell packs. keep in mind though I allready had hardware. hihat stand,bass pedal's and misc. other things. if your on a budget,
PDP by DW is no joke.
like with anything you maintain your equip. it will work great and last a long time ;)~
