Gibson SG Standard Left Handed Electric Guitar (Assorted Colors)
When Gibson first introduced the SG in the 60s it became an instant classic. The double cutaway design is lightweight, comfortable and easy to play - plus it has all the tone you would want from a dual humbucker solidbody. The SG Standard comes loaded with a 490R humbucker in the neck position and a 498T in the bridge position.
The 490R has a similar tone to that of a '57 Classic but with a slight boost in the upper mids. The 498T, also known as the Hot Alnico, has a specially wound coil combination along with a hotter Alnico V magnet making this the perfect rock pickup. It delivers a higher output with emphasis on mids and highs. The SG's bound mahogany neck is mated to a silky rosewood fingerboard and features pearl Trapezoid inlays. Includes hardshell case.
